The Office of the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Technology (PROITI), through the Oceantec Technology Park, participated in the 38th Fenacan with the panel “Innovation and Development for Santo Antônio da Patrulha,” held on August 7 at the Multiespaço.
Moderated by Samuel Bonato, Executive Director of Oceantec, the event featured Rodrigo Massulo (Municipal Mayor), Guilherme Wiedenhoft (Coordinator of PPGA/FURG), Luciano Gonçalves (Director of ABEEMAR), and Antônio Valente (Director of FURG Campus/SAP). Strategic topics were discussed, including the installation of the technology park in the municipality, upcoming initiatives, and the role of innovation in regional development.
The dialogue highlighted Santo Antônio da Patrulha’s strategic position as the gateway to the Northern Coast for fostering the blue economy, as well as FURG’s key role in managing and strengthening technology-based businesses. The presence of a technology park acting as a development catalyst represents an opportunity to enhance partnerships, attract investment, and create pathways to transform ideas into tangible solutions for the region.
