Digital Governance Committee (CGDig)
The Digital Governance Committee – CGDig of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) is a permanent, advisory and propositional body linked to the Office of the Rector, responsible for addressing matters related to digital governance, as well as the planning and prioritization of Information Technology (IT) projects.
The CGDig shall have the following responsibilities:
I – Monitor and promote alignment of Digital Governance actions with FURG’s strategic guidelines;
II – Develop FURG’s Digital Transformation Plan;
III – Review FURG’s Information and Communication Technology Master Plan;
IV – Propose FURG’s Open Data Plan, in accordance with Decree No. 8,777 of May 11, 2016;
V – Establish guidelines for the planning, organization, and execution of FURG’s digital governance activities; and
VI – Propose the creation of Working Groups and/or Technical Groups to support the CGDig on specific or highly complex technical matters, defining their objectives, membership, and deadlines for completion, when applicable.
