The Office of the Vice-Rector for Research and Graduate Studies (PROPESP) and the Office of the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Information Technology (PROITI) are pleased to announce the list of winners of the “Outstanding CIC and CiTec Award – FURG 2022”, selected from participants in the 31st Scientific Initiation Congress (CIC) and the 1st Innovation Congress (CiTec). These events were held as part of the 21st University Production Showcase (MPU) at FURG, offering undergraduate students from FURG and other institutions the opportunity to present their research results.
A total of 688 works from diverse fields of knowledge were submitted across CIC and CiTec. The presentations took place online in synchronous sessions during the event held in October 2022. The list of undergraduate students awarded the “Outstanding CIC and CiTec Award – FURG 2022”, as nominated by specialized evaluation committees in each thematic session, is available in the document below.
Students who received this award and were CNPq scholarship holders during the past year will be eligible to compete in CNPq’s National Outstanding Undergraduate Research and Innovation Award, an annual recognition launched by CNPq at the end of each year.
PROPESP and PROITI will contact eligible scholarship recipients and their advisors in due course, once CNPq officially opens the national award application period.
