The Office of the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Information Technology, through the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (OCEANTEC/PROITI) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), is pleased to invite the academic and business community to a webinar on “Industrial Property and Industrial Design.”
The session will be led by Eduardo Rodrigues Rio, an Industrial Property Technologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, specialization in Ergonomics and Usability, and a Master's degree and current PhD candidate in Intellectual Property and Innovation at the INPI Academy of Intellectual Property, Innovation, and Development. He has been a public servant at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) since 2006. Between 2010 and 2017, he served as Head of the Patent Formal Examination Service, and currently works as an Examiner and Acting Chief of the Technical Division of Industrial Designs at INPI’s Trademarks Directorate.
