Organized by Sebrae in partnership with FURG, the 4th edition of the Carreiras (Careers) Program will take place from June 15 to 17, 2026, offering a series of virtual and free panel discussions focused on innovation, technology, and the job market. The program features several speakers, including Danúbia Espíndola, FURG’s Vice-Rector for Innovation and Information Technology. Under the theme “The Role of Innovation in the Future of Professions,” sessions will be held daily at 7:00 PM (Brasília time). Interested participants must register by clicking here.
According to Aléssio Almada, Coordinator of FURG’s Technology-Based Business Incubator (Innovatio), the event will address key topics for students’ career planning and “offers a valuable opportunity to hear from business and academic leaders discussing innovation, management, and technology. In 2020, this same event attracted participants from various regions across Brazil,” he explained.
Aléssio also emphasized that FURG and Sebrae are long-standing partners in multiple initiatives. “This collaboration has significantly contributed to establishing the region as a hub for innovative entrepreneurship,” he noted.
