The Pro-Rectory of Innovation and Information Technology (PROITI) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) has published Internal Notice No. 01/2026 for the Selection of a Candidate Group for MEC Notice No. 1/2026 – Participation in the pilot phase of the Experimental Regulatory Environment for Artificial Intelligence in Education (Regulatory Sandbox).
This call aims to select a group of researchers from the University to represent FURG in submitting a proposal to the Ministry of Education, within the scope of the Regulatory Sandbox, which is intended for the controlled experimentation of artificial intelligence solutions applied to education.
About the proposal submission
Interested parties must submit their proposals by May 3, 2026, to the email address: proiti@furg.br, following the criteria defined in the internal notice available for consultation below.
Once the candidate group representing FURG has been selected, it must make the necessary adjustments and submit the final proposal in accordance with the requirements of MEC Notice No. 1/2026.
