PROITI Launches Internal Call for Selection of Candidate Group for Embrapii System Accreditation Call

The Office of the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Information Technology (PROITI) announces the opening of an Internal Call for the Selection of a Candidate Group to participate in the Public Call for Accreditation in the Embrapii System, as published at:

This call aims to select a group of researchers established at the university to be accredited as an Embrapii Unit. Accreditation will be granted exclusively to the FURG Candidate Group whose proposal aligns with one of the competence areas defined in Embrapii Public Call No. 01/2025, namely:
(i) Medicinal Chemistry and Biotherapeutics;
(ii) Medical Devices; or
(iii) Digital Health.
 
For the purposes of this call, a Candidate Group is defined as a team of researchers collaboratively engaged in Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) projects in the proposed area, in partnership with industrial companies.
 
Proposal Submission Guidelines
 
Interested parties must submit their Candidate Group proposal by August 10, 2025, to the email address: proiti@furg.br, in accordance with the criteria outlined in the Internal Call (available below).
 
Once selected, the FURG Candidate Group must submit its Action Plan by September 17, 2025, also to proiti@furg.br.

  • Annex 1 – Quantitative Information Spreadsheet (Stage 1)
  • Annex 2 – Letter of Intent from the Lead Applicant
  • Synthetic Argumentation (mandatory, limited to two pages), outlining the proposed competence area and up to three sub-areas of activity, as specified in Section 4 of Embrapii Public Call No. 01/2025. This document must be submitted together with the other required files and named ArgumentacaoArea.pdf.
