The 16th Technology Innovation Fair (Fitec), to be held from August 28 to September 3 at Cidec-Sul on the Carreiros Campus of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), has extended the deadline for project submissions. Interested parties now have until August 1 to secure their participation in the exhibition.

Held jointly with the 50th FURG Book Fair, Fitec serves as a showcase for innovations developed by FURG’s laboratories, academic and administrative units, as well as projects from IFRS, Oceantec, and Innovatio. The fair aims to highlight research and technological solutions geared toward the economic and social development of the region.

Eligible participants include laboratories, projects, and technology-based companies linked to FURG’s and IFRS’s innovation ecosystems and partners. Submissions must feature innovative elements in any field of knowledge and include physical or virtual materials for public interaction.

Registrations must be completed via the form available at this LINK by August 1.
